A laptop is one of the tools you’ll need to be successful in school. When you enroll in one of our bachelor’s programs, you’ll receive a brand-new laptop pre-loaded with Microsoft software to help you in your studies. Complete your first three quarters and the laptop is yours to keep.

GRADUATION FUND

Build up tuition credits for your final year of bachelor’s classes at Strayer with our Graduation Fund. You can save up to 25% off your tuition—that’s up to $14,350 on the cost of your degree.

Enrollment is automatic, so you start working towards earning credits as soon as you complete your first class.

TRANSFER STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

Transfer into a bachelor’s degree programs with a GPA of 2.5 or higher and two or more classes and qualify for:

LEGACY SCHOLARSHIP

With our legacy scholarship, every current Strayer student and alumni is eligible to refer a family member to Strayer. Your referral will qualify for:

  • A $1,000 scholarship good for the Winter 2018 academic term on all bachelor’s and master’s programs.

Undergraduate Students

Provision of laptop available only to new and readmitted bachelor’s degree seeking students with at least 6 courses needed to complete their program enrolling in Winter 2018 quarter and subsequent quarters at any Strayer University campus or enrolled through Global Online. Students must complete three quarters within their first four quarters in order to keep the laptop. This offer does not apply to continuing students, Strayer University employees, or family members of such employees, and students receiving tuition assistance from Verizon or Verizon Wireless may only borrow and use the laptop subject to the terms of the Bachelor’s Laptop Verizon and Verizon Wireless Loaner Agreement. Students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program through Strayer@Work or Degrees@Work are not eligible for the program. Limitations for other Corporate sponsored programs students may also apply. Please contact your home campus or Strayer Online for more information. Only one laptop will be provided per student. In the event the laptop is broken, lost, stolen, or otherwise incapacitated, Strayer will not provide a replacement. Laptop opportunity is subject to change at any time. Complete details are available in the Bachelor’s Laptop Agreement or the Bachelor’s Laptop Verizon and Verizon Wireless Loaner Agreement, as applicable.

Graduate Students

Provision of laptop available only to new and readmitted Master of Science in Nursing students enrolling in Winter 2018. Students must complete three quarters within their first four quarters in order to keep the laptop. This offer does not apply to continuing students, Strayer University or Strayer Education Inc. employees, or family members of such employees, and students receiving tuition assistance from Verizon or Verizon Wireless, to the extent that they are permitted to take the Master of Science in Nursing program, may only borrow and use the laptop subject to the terms of the Master’s Laptop Verizon and Verizon Wireless Loaner Agreement. Students enrolled in a master’s degree program through Strayer@Work or Degrees@Work are not eligible for the program. Limitations for other Corporate sponsored programs students may also apply. Please contact your home campus for more information. Only one laptop will be provided per student. Students who have already received a no-cost laptop during their bachelor’s degree program will not be eligible to receive an additional laptop. In the event the laptop is broken, lost, stolen, or otherwise incapacitated, Strayer will not provide a replacement. Laptop opportunity is subject to change at any time. GRADUATION FUND

  1. Does not include books or fees.
  2. Developmental courses (08X/090/091), transfer credits, courses completed prior to readmission, and courses passed by placement exam are excluded from this program and do not count toward earning tuition awards. Fund must be redeemed for the final courses leading to a bachelor’s degree. Successful completion means earning the grade required by the curriculum as outlined in the Strayer University Catalog.
  3. Only new or readmit students enrolling in undergraduate programs (non-degree, undergraduate certificate, undergraduate diploma, associate or bachelor’s program) are eligible for savings. Some groups of students may not be eligible including, but not limited to: students eligible for Supplemental Assistance Scholarship, students eligible for Experienced Student Completion Scholarship, full time Strayer University employees and their dependents, students eligible for the Law Enforcement Tuition Assistance Program, students enrolled in the Complete@Strayer Community College program, and students attending one of the Degrees@Work campuses.
  4. RN to BSN students are only eligible for the graduation fund beginning the Fall 2017 quarter. Credits completed prior to the Fall 2017 quarter by RN to BSN students are not eligible to receive graduation fund credit.
  5. Tuition credit is earned only after successfully completing courses and could be lost if you do not take courses for two consecutive quarters.
  6. Students already receiving scholarship aid from Strayer University may not eligible.
  7. Students receiving tuition assistance from their employer through agreements with Strayer University may not be eligible.

Academic Excellence Transfer Scholarship

To be awarded this scholarship the following requirements must all be met:
  1. The student must be a New or Readmit student registering for an undergraduate degree starting Winter 2018 and not currently employed by the University or an immediate family member or household member of a current Strayer University employee.
  2. Student must have at least 2 classes (or credits equivalent to 2 classes) with at least one class (or credits equivalent to 1 class) transfer into Strayer University and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. At least one of the transferred classes (or credits equivalent to 1 class) must have been completed in the past 12 months.
  3. Unofficial transcripts can be used for eligibility, but official transcripts are required to award the scholarship.
  4. If a student takes off more than two (2) consecutive quarters, they will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.
  5. Student must maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA to be eligible to continue to receive the scholarship in subsequent terms
  6. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship/tuition discount including the graduation fund.
  7. Eligible programs only include Strayer University undergraduate programs. This scholarship does not include any Strayer University graduate programs or any programs offered through JWMI, NYCDA, Degrees@work, or Verizon Onsite.
  8. Scholarship applies to course tuition only. All other books and fees must be paid with a separate method of payment.
  9. No refund or cash value on unused scholarship dollars.
  10. For students whose tuition is billed to an employer or sponsor, the scholarship is applied first to tuition charges and then the sponsor is billed the net tuition amount (to the extent tuition benefits are available).
  11. The recipient student must attend a class in the Winter 2018 term before the scholarship is applied.
  12. The student must meet all Strayer University admissions requirements by program.
  13. To receive the scholarship, student must be in good financial standing with the University ($0 past due balance at time of enrollment).

Transfer Scholarship

To be awarded this scholarship the following requirements must all be met:
  1. The student must be a New or Readmit student registering for an undergraduate degree starting Winter 2018 and not currently employed by the University or an immediate family member or household member of a current Strayer University employee.
  2. Student must have completed at least 2 classes with a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.5, of which at least one (1) must transfer into Strayer University. At least one of the transferred classes (or credits equivalent to 1 class) must have been completed in the past 12 months.
  3. Unofficial transcripts can be used for eligibility, but official transcripts are required to award the scholarship.
  4. Standard rules of the Grad Fund apply with regard to maintaining and redeeming the graduation fund credits. Visit www.strayer.edu/gradfund for more information about our Graduation Fund.
  5. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship/tuition discount; except for further credits earned in the graduation fund.
  6. Eligible programs include all Strayer University undergraduate programs. However, credits earned in the Graduation Fund program may only be redeemed at the end of a bachelor’s degree program. This scholarship does not include Strayer University graduate programs or any programs offered at JWMI, NYCDA, or Degrees@work.
  7. Any class credit earned under the Graduation Fund applies only to course tuition. All other books and fees must be paid with a different method of payment.
  8. For students whose tuition is billed to an employer or sponsor, any scholarship value is applied first to tuition charges and then the sponsor is billed the net tuition amount (to the extent tuition benefits are available).

  10. The recipient student must meet all Strayer University admissions requirements by program.
  11. The recipient student must be in good financial standing with the University ($0 past due balance at time of enrollment).

Strayer Family Legacy Scholarship

To be awarded this scholarship the following requirements must all be met:
  1. The referred student must be a New or Readmit student registering for any eligible Strayer University program in Winter 2018 term and not currently employed by the University.
  2. If the referring student is an employee of Strayer University, the student referred may not be a dependent of the referring student/employee.
  3. Referred student and current Strayer student/alumni must each sign an affidavit to acknowledge that the new student is in fact a family member of the Strayer student/alumni.
  4. Eligible family members are limited to: Grandparents, Parents, Children, Siblings, spouses, and domestic partners (inclusive of step-children).
  5. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship/tuition discount. However, undergraduate students will still be eligible for the Graduation Fund.
  6. This scholarship does not include NYCDA or any Strayer University programs offered through Degrees@work or Verizon Onsite.
  7. A legacy student is defined as a family member of an alumnus, current student, or a former student who has been enrolled in a class within the last four (4) terms.
  8. Scholarship applies to course tuition only. All other books and fees must be paid with a separate method of payment.
  9. No refund or cash value on unused scholarship dollars.
  10. For students whose tuition is billed to an employer or sponsor, the scholarship is applied first to tuition charges and then the sponsor is billed the net tuition amount (to the extent tuition benefits are available).
  11. The referred student must attend a class for Winter 2018 before scholarship is applied.
  12. The referred student must meet all Strayer University admissions requirements by program.
  13. The referred student must be in good financial standing with the University ($0 past due balance at time of enrollment).
